We know leaving your pet in someone else’s care is a big decision. Below you’ll find answers to the questions we’re asked most often. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to contact us—we’re always happy to help.
Yes. You’re welcome to bring blankets, toys, or bedding that help your dog feel comfortable during their stay. Please limit toys to 1–2 items, and ensure beds are reasonably sized and machine washable.
We recommend not bringing your dog’s favorite or irreplaceable items, as toys and bedding may become worn or damaged during play. Please label all personal belongings with your dog’s name. While we take great care, Kingdom Pet Boarding cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items.
No. We provide stainless steel food and water bowls, which are washed and sanitized after every use. If your dog requires a special feeder (such as a slow feeder or raised bowl), you may bring that item. For safety reasons, please do not bring ceramic or glass bowls.
Yes, we strongly recommend bringing your dog’s regular food to help prevent digestive upset. Please bring enough food for the duration of the stay plus one extra day, just in case plans change.
Food should be stored in an airtight container or in individually portioned bags, clearly labeled with your dog’s name and feeding instructions. If you are unable to provide food, we offer Hill’s Prescription Intestinal Diet* at no additional cost. If your dog eats canned or wet food, please bring it with you.
All medications must be brought in their original prescription containers, clearly labeled with dosing instructions from your veterinarian. Please only bring enough medication for the duration of the stay. This policy complies with Texas state law. If you have questions, our team is happy to help before check-in.
Dogs follow a structured daily routine that includes three supervised group play sessions, scheduled rest periods, and a 10-minute one-on-one session with a staff member. This balance helps keep dogs happy, exercised, and relaxed throughout their stay.
Dogs enjoy multiple outdoor sessions each day in our secure, fenced play yards. Group play is carefully supervised, and dogs are grouped by size and temperament to ensure safe, positive interactions.
Yes. Fresh water is available at all times. Because some dogs drink less when adjusting to a new environment, we closely monitor hydration. It’s normal for dogs to drink more water than usual once they return home.
Yes. In addition to regular play sessions, we offer optional add-on services that provide extra one-on-one attention, enrichment, and comfort. Ask our team about available options when booking your reservation.
At this time, we do not offer live webcams. However, you are always welcome to call during business hours to check on your dog. We do our best to keep families informed and are happy to answer questions about your pet’s stay.
For dogs staying more than three nights, we offer a complimentary express bath upon request. This is a quick bath designed to help your dog go home clean and fresh. It does not include brushing, trimming, or blow-drying. For dogs that require full grooming, we recommend scheduling professional grooming separately.
It’s normal for dogs to be extra tired, thirsty, or excited after returning home. Some dogs may eat or drink quickly due to excitement. We recommend allowing food and water in moderation at first to avoid stomach upset.
Dogs must have:
All records must be current prior to arrival.
We strongly recommend vaccines be updated at least two weeks prior to your dog’s stay to ensure proper immunity. In certain situations, same-day vaccinations may be possible. Please contact us in advance to discuss options and requirements.
All pets must have a negative fecal exam on file annually. If a fecal exam is positive, treatment must be completed and a follow-up test provided before boarding.
Pets are checked for external parasites upon arrival. If fleas or ticks are found, treatment will be administered at the owner’s expense. Our play yards are disinfected daily as part of our sanitation protocol.
These age guidelines help ensure the health, safety, and comfort of all dogs in our care.
